THREE works:
- ONE modern work (the work must be published after 1900, a work written by an American or Canadian composer is recommended);
- ONE Baroque or Classical Period work. If a classical sonata is chosen, the candidates only need to play one movement;
- ONE Romantic or Post Romantic work. Post Romantic work includes impressionist works. A suite or series of works (such as Mazurka series) is regarded as one work.
In addition to the above repertoire requirements, the following rules should be complied:
1. The candidates are allowed to play with music score for the National Round.
2. The candidates are allowed to retain one of the works that they have performed in the previous rounds.
3. The candidates are required to memorize the music for the Final Round.
4. There is no time limit for the performance.
5. The repeat signs should be generally omitted.
6. The date of recording must be after January 1, 2021.
7. If a classical sonata is chosen, the candidates only need to play one movement.
